Mostar & Kravice Waterfalls National park with Swimming included

Sobre esta atividade
The city of Mostar is a place to create some beautiful memories. It’s a city of contrasts, rich in culture, colour and amazing cuisine. The Neretva River that flows through it divides the city into two halves. But this city is also divided by religion and culture from one bank of the river to other. This is what makes Mostar, in the region of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a most memorable place to visit, a place where the eastern world meets the western. This short drive up the Adriatic coast and then inland will follow the breathtaking Neretva river and offer stunning views of the river valley and the local countryside. This tour from Dubrovnik to Mostar will show you how the Neretva river enriches the land and will bring you the scents and bright colours of tangerine and kiwi plantations. One of the most fascinating natural wonders of the Herzegovinia region is definitely the crystal clear waterfalls of Kravice.
The best part about the Kravice falls is that even though they are incredibly impressive (imagine a miniature version of Brazil’s Iguazu Falls) the area is still void of any mass-tourism infrastructure. There’s an ample car park and café’ at the entry to the park and a lovely boardwalk which takes you all the way down to the base of the falls, where you can swim, sun bake, picnic and even pitch a tent.
The waters are refreshing all year round (between 12 – 20 degrees Celsius, depends on the season), and a swim or a rope-swing dive should definitely not be missed! There’s also a cool little bar down by the water’s edge where you can grab a coffee or nibbly… Don’t worry if you happen to visit during the drier months, the falls may not be as WOWing as when they’re in full thrust, but at least you’ll be able to swim right under them, which would be incredibly stunning indeed. During the high season, various restaurants in the vicinity of the waterfalls mostly offer grilled dishes and fish specialties. Popular in the summer season above all with rafting enthusiasts and locals, it is the perfect place for all those who wish to relax and enjoy themselves in the midst of an uncontaminated atmosphere, accompanied by the constant sound of waterfalls in the background. Near to them, there is also a small grotto with stalactites made of calcium carbonate, an old mill and a sailing ship, all to be admired.
Departure: Every day at 8:30 am
