Marataba Safari Lodge Tented Suite

Marataba Safari Lodge is a simple extension of the natural environment beyond its walls – rich, bold, organic and patently magnificent. If you sit quietly for long enough, you can feel the energy of the countless people who have made this place home since The Stone Age. You will be picked from the airport or at the address specified by you. Accommodation in a luxury Tented Suite. Each of the 15 canvas-and-stone Tented Suites are tastefully furnished and decorated with a contemporary twist. Whether sharing it with lover, friend or family (or keeping it all to yourself), the interior is ample, and the attention to detail impeccable. Each Tented Suite is approximately 45m2 and has a private deck, a double bed (convertible to twins), air conditioning, open-plan bathroom en-suite, outdoor shower, in-room safe, mini bar, direct-dial telephone, hairdryer and a range of deluxe amenities.

Itinerary: Day 1: Johannesburg - Marataba Safari Lodge

Upon arrival at the airport you'll be met by Bono Tours and Safaris or the representative will come and collect you from your place residence then proceed to the Marataba Safari Lodge - Marakele National Park via the Chameleon Village African Craft Market (time permit). The journey will take up to 3.5hours to the lodge. Marataba Safari Lodge staff will welcome you arrival and assist you with your check in and explain to you on how the lodge operates and introduced to you your field guide who will be taking you on your safari for the duration of your stay. After check in your be escorted to your room to freshen up before leaving for the afternoon game drive to enjoy the BIG FIVE and what nature had to offer on that afternoon. Refreshments will be served during the course of the safari.

Day 2. Marataba Safari Lodge

Early wakeup call then meet your guide at reception for tea and coffee before leaving for a morning game drive. Enjoy your morning looking for the African wildlife then came back to the lodge for breakfast. The rest of the day will be spent at the lodge relaxing by the pool or in your room or you can visit the SPA. Then you leave again for the afternoon game drive, come back at the lodge for dinner. 

Day 3. Marataba Safari Lodge

Early wakeup call then meet your guide at reception for tea and coffee before leaving for a morning game drive. Came back to the after lodge after the morning and game drive the have breakfast the check out. Then Bono Tours and Safaris representative will take you back to the airport or place of residence with fun filled memories with option of stopping at the market.
