Sichuan Cuisine Cooking experience half-day guided tour from Chengdu

Half-day Chuançais Museum Tour:

At 8:00am or 13:00pm : your driver will pick you from your hotel in Chengdu. Your half-day trip in Sichuan Cuisine Museum starts.

After about one and half hour, you arrive at Sichuan Cuisine Museum. Your trip in Sichuan Cuisine Museum can briefly devided into Four parts.

First part is to visit the museum. After you arrived, you will enjoy in a six-people group, and the guide will show you the exhibition hall. There are lots of antique about Sichuan Cuisine culture. From that, you can know the development of Sichuan cuisine culture from it.

Let us call the second part ---snacks tour. After you finished your visit in exhibition hall, the guide will lead you to visit the Garden and the factory of Pixian Bean Paste. On the way to there, there are several traditional Sichuan snacks you can try, such as Bean Noodles in Chilli Sauce, Tofu Jelly and so on.

The third part is to visit the factory and the temple of God of Kitchen. After arrived this little factory, you can see how to make Pixian Bean Paste, which is called the soul of Sichuan Cuisine. You can also join in to make it by yourself. Then we turn to the Temple for the God of Kitchen. In traditional Chinese culture, it exist the custom of worshiping the God of Kitchen. You can also ask the God of Kitchen’s blessings.

The last but most exciting part we can call it ---how to become a Chef. After all the visit in this Museum, the guide will lead you to the kitchen. A professional Chef will teach you several classy Sichuan cuisine. Each of you can cook your lunch/dinner by yourself. No matter if you know how to cook before, you will make your delicious lunch/dinner by yourself with Chef’s instruction. Then enjoy your meal. Finally, you can get a cooking certification as souvenir. Say goodbye and you will be escorted to you hotel in Chengdu. End this tour with sweet memory.
