Sobre esta atividade
Choose between a morning or afternoon tour, departing at either 10:00 am or 2:00 pm from the information center to the right of the Hungarian Parliament at Kossuth Square.

Take a personalized, 3-hour walking tour with a private guide through the buzzing city center of Pest. Since Buda and Pest were unified nearly 150 years ago, the city has seen significant growth. Step back in time and learn about the layered history beneath the ornate building facades and worn cobblestone streets.

Visit the Holocaust monument built on a bank of the Danube to memorialize the thousands of Budapest's Jewish citizens, killed in the Second World War.

Next, tour Freedom Square. Originally built as the financial heart of the city, it is home to palaces and opulent buildings that still house several banks, including the Hungarian National Bank. The beautiful city square is rich in local history and your guide will fill you in on the significance of its many monuments and buildings.

Then, see St. Stephen’s Basilica, as well as the second largest synagogue in the world, which is a monument to the vital role the Jewish population played in the development of the city.

Finally, travel along Andrassy Boulevard, an esplanade designed for nobility, and visit the Opera House, before the tour ends at Heroes Square. (Either at 1:00 pm or 5:00 pm).
