Sobre esta atividade
Romania was involved in both World Wars also because it was caught in the middle between the European alliancies : on one side Great Britain , France and Russia on the other side Germany , Austrian - Hungarian Empire and Italy . With the beginning of the first world war Romania decided that it be wise to stay neutral but it didn't last long because in the summer of 1916 Romania attacks the Imperial troops in the south side of Transylvania. With the end of the war , even though we faught against the Triple Alliance we were considered at first a losing country cenario repeated with the end at the second world war. Brasov, a city located in the south of Transylvania , was the battle field on the confrontation between Romanian Royal army and the Austrian -Hungarian imperial army in both world wars. Some parts of the town still carries the "scars" of the wars kept on purpose to remember the heroes that lost their lives in the Great Wars.
