Meet here at 8 AM for tour briefing & bike fitting. Morning traffic can be heavy, so leave early and allow enough time to make the 8:15 departure time. After our briefing, we will warm up our legs with our first ride of the day.

Stop At: Giant Swing, Bamrung Muang Rd, Bangkok 10200 Thailand
We stop at the Giant Swing, known for its use in a yearly Brahman rice harvest ceremony. The use of the swing was discontinued in the 1930s due to injuries and deaths as men would swing on the giant structure while trying to catch a bag of coins in their mouth. Those who caught the coins could keep them! Situated at the entrance of Wat Suthat, The Giant Swing’s huge size and bright red color makes it impossible to miss!
Entering Wat Suthat, one of the oldest temples in Thailand, we are surrounded by the Wat’s intricate murals. After a look around, we return to our bikes to continue today’s journey.

Stop At: Princess Mother Memorial Park, Soi 3 Somdet Chao Phraya Rd. Khlong San District, Bangkok Thailand
After a 15-20 minute ferry across the Chao Phraya River, an authentic form of Bangkok transportation, we arrive to a much quieter part of town. The trail changes pace into gentle back roads that lead to the embrace of the serene Princess Mother Memorial Park. Amidst the flowers and lush foliage lies a small museum, well worth the visit.

No true Bangkok market tour is complete without a closer look at Portugese influences. We visit Santa Cruz Catholic Church, built during the 18th century when the Portuguese came to Thailand, and taste Portuguese-inspired desserts made from recipes passed down for generations!

We hop back on our bikes and ride through the old community to Wat Kalayanamitr, or the Temple of Good Friends. This Wat is home to the second biggest Buddha and the biggest monk bell in Thailand!

We continue to a Bangkok favorite, the Temple of the Dawn (or Wat Arun) featuring five towering prangs and adorned by broken pieces of Chinese porcelain. Though popular, Wat Arun is a must see as it is truly one of Bangkok’s most beautiful temples.
